How to Play Space Survivor
Movement is the whole game. Your character shoots automatically, so your job is positioning: line enemies up with your weapon's spread, then slide out of reach before they touch you. The frames show aliens streaming in from every edge of the map, with red gems scattering across the floor as they die. Picking those gems up feeds your level bar at the top of the screen.
When the bar fills, a Level Up card appears and the action pauses. You choose one of three offers — the frames show Boomerang, which throws a single boomerang, Drill, which fires a shot that rebounds, and Circular Saw, which summons two spinners that orbit you. Each pick changes how you need to move: orbiting weapons want you close to the swarm, rebounding shots want walls nearby.
Between weapons there are passive abilities to stack and power-ups for moments when you are boxed in. The timer keeps running, so survival time is the score to beat.
Tips
- Keep moving even while gems are on the floor — the copy warns that grabbing drops is when players take hits.
- Read what each Level Up card actually does before picking; a spinner that orbits you covers different ground than a straight shot that rebounds.
- Save power-ups for when aliens close in from two or more sides instead of using them on light waves.
- Don't let gems sit at the far edge of the map — collecting them is what fills the bar and brings the next weapon choice.
