How to Play Pixel PUBG

Choose a character and a map, then get on the ground and start looting. Weapons are scattered around the terrain — walk up to one and press F to pick it up, and use Tab to check what you are carrying in the inventory. Left click fires, right click aims down your sights, and R reloads when the magazine runs dry.

Moving well matters as much as shooting. WASD or the arrow keys walk, Left Shift runs, Space jumps and C crouches to shrink your profile in the scrub. The minimap in the bottom-right corner shows your facing and labelled areas such as the military zone, so use it to pick a direction instead of wandering the open hills.

A section of play takes place in the air aboard an aircraft, with a prompt to press F to parachute. Once the canopy opens you glide down to the dirt below and start the loop again: find a gun, pick your ground, and remove the opposition.

Tips

Press F on every weapon you pass — guns lie all over the map and the inventory lets you carry more than one option.
Reload with R after a fight instead of during one; the health bar only holds 100 points.
Crouch with C in the tall dry grass on the hillsides — the blocky terrain hides a still, low silhouette better than a running one.
Open the minimap corner reference before moving; labelled zones like the military area tell you where other players are likely to head.
Right-click to aim before firing at distance, and save the Left Shift sprint for crossing bare orange ground.
