Pocket Drift turns tight dirt circuits into one long sideways slide. You steer a small toy-sized car around looping tracks, keep it drifting through corner after corner to build up a multiplier, and collect coins scattered along the racing line while a lap counter and timer tick away. The view is top-down and isometric, the tracks are lined with red-and-white kerb blocks, and it runs free in your browser.

How to Play Pocket Drift
You only steer — the car keeps rolling on its own, so every input is about angle. Turning into a bend breaks traction and the car starts to slide, and a "Drifting" banner appears with a multiplier that climbs the longer you hold the slide. Let the car straighten out and the multiplier resets, so the skill is linking corners instead of taking them cleanly.
Your score sits top-left next to a star, the timer runs top-right, and the bottom corners show your speed in km/s and your lap out of three. Coins line the inside and outside of the turns, and the frames show wooden fence sections and barriers placed on the track itself — clipping them or hitting the kerb blocks kills your speed, dropping you from around 100 km/s to a crawl. A "Near Miss!" message pops up when you squeeze past an obstacle, so brushing close pays better than playing safe.
Finish the three laps, then take the same approach to the rest of the tracks and cars.
Tips
- Start your turn early and hold it — the multiplier grows the longer the slide lasts, and it resets the moment the car grips again.
- The looping hairpins are where the biggest multipliers come from; treat two tight bends as one continuous drift rather than two separate turns.
- Aim your slide so the back of the car sweeps through the coin line instead of braking for it.
- Kerb blocks and fence panels are the real enemy — a hit drops you from full speed to nearly nothing and ends the drift chain.
- Passing tight to an obstacle triggers a Near Miss, so don't drift wider than you need to.
