Each course is a chain of pale ice-blue platforms suspended over a bright sky, and the frames show the pair running away from the camera in a third-person view. The red tiles scattered across those platforms are the hazard: brush one and the run goes wrong, so you weave between them, hop the gaps and keep the two brothers moving along safe ground.
