How to Play Noob Steve Nether
You control a blocky Steve character seen from behind in third person. The map is a scattering of dark red netherrack-style blocks hanging over a glowing lava plain, with taller dark towers marking points further along the route. Move with WASD or the left joystick, swing the camera with the mouse or right joystick to line up your next landing spot, and press Space to jump across the gap.
A timer in the centre of the HUD tracks your run and keeps counting as you go, so the challenge is route choice and clean jumping rather than exploring. Frames show the character sending up a puff of particles on landing, and blocks arranged at different heights and spacings — some single cubes, some wider clusters — so each hop needs the camera pointed where you actually want to land.
