You see the world down the barrel of your handgun. Walk with WASD, look with the mouse, and hold Left Shift to run between cover. The corner HUD is all you need to read: Health on the left starts at 100, and Ammo on the right shows the rounds in your clip against your reserve — in the frames it ticks down from 10/60 as shots are fired, so press R before you are caught empty.
The compound is a walled area of grass, scattered trees and large stone buildings under a black sky, and the light level is low enough that you often move by outline alone. Press the right mouse button to aim — the crosshair tightens into a small ring — and the left button to fire. Crouch with Left CTRL or go prone with X to keep a low profile, jump with Space, and press F to pick up items you find along the way, including the briefcases you came for.
