Flume (V2)
By dingleberry studios
Flume (V2) drops you into an endless half-pipe as a red ball, carving left and right down a tube that keeps rolling. Your speed meter sits at the bottom next to a boost bar, and the score counter climbs the longer and faster you ride. It runs free in the browser on desktop and mobile, with three difficulty settings and a racing mode that pits you against your own best speed and score.

How to Play Flume (V2)
Steer with the left and right controls to bank the ball across the curved walls of the pipe. The frames show the half-pipe twisting through themed stretches like Lagoon, Iris and Meadow, each with its own colour palette and blocky scenery on the ridges above the track. The reading on the right is your speed in metres per second — it swings from the low 40s up past 85 depending on how well you hold your line, and going faster is what keeps a run alive longer.
Watch the boost bar under the speed bar. Once it fills, trigger it to push your pace higher. Black and white ring segments sit ahead in the pipe, and gaps in those rings mark the line you thread through as the tube narrows. Score updates constantly in the top-left corner, with a NEW BEST flag when you pass your record, and a timer at the top centre tracks how long you have lasted. Better scores unlock extra balls to ride with.
Tips
- Start on the easiest of the three difficulties and use the tutorial to learn how far the ball swings up the pipe wall before you commit to a hard run.
- Keep an eye on the speed number rather than the ball alone — dropping from the 80s into the 40s is your cue that your line through the rings is off.
- Save the boost until the bar is completely full so the speed gain lands on a clean stretch instead of mid-turn.
- Use racing mode when you want a target, since it measures you against your previous speed and score.
