How to Play Professional Archerist
The view is first person: your left hand grips the wrapped bow in the centre of the screen and the nocked arrow points out toward the water. Targets are apples resting on the heads of characters lined up along the stone pier, each ringed by a glowing blue marker. Move the mouse to swing your aim across the row, and a small crosshair reticle appears over the apple you are lined up on.
Click to shoot. Arrows travel in a visible arc, so shots toward distant targets on the far side of the water need more allowance than the ones sitting close to you. Two counters sit in the top-left corner and tick down as a stage progresses, and a pause button waits in the top-right.
Clear the stage and a Level complete panel appears with the coins earned that round and your coin total, plus buttons to go home, replay the stage, or move on to the next one. Later stages change the layout — seated and standing targets at different spacings, trees and rocks framing the shot.
Tips
- Watch the arrow's arc on your first shot of a stage and use it to judge how high to aim at the targets across the water.
- Line up so the crosshair sits on the apple itself, not the head below it — the blue ring marks the target but the apple is what you are hitting.
- Take the close targets on your side of the pier first; they need the least allowance and let you settle your aim.
- If a stage goes badly, the replay button on the Level complete panel lets you run it again from the results screen.
