How to Play Super Buddy Archer
Levels are single screens: wooden gallows frames hold a Buddy on a short rope, with stars floating nearby and water below. Your bow sits in the middle of the screen. Aim with the pointer and a dotted trajectory line shows where the arrow will travel, then release to fire. Hit the rope above a Buddy and he falls free.
Arrows are limited — the stack of arrow icons in the top-left is your whole supply for that level, so a miss costs you. Stars you collect along an arrow's path count toward unlocking further levels, and the results screen rates your run with up to three stars, then offers next level, retry, or the level grid.
Later stages mix in different objects: TNT you can detonate to free Buddies with the blast, ricochet surfaces, boxes, sharks and other obstacles. Some are themed, like the Bloons level, where balloons fill the screen and you shoot from the side. Angles matter — plan the bounce instead of firing straight.
Tips
- Watch the dotted guide line before releasing; it previews the arrow's path so you can line it up with the rope knot.
- Aim so the arrow passes through a floating star on its way to the rope — one shot can do both jobs.
- Count the arrow icons in the top-left before firing. If you are down to your last arrow, restart rather than waste it on a bad angle.
- On TNT levels, target the explosive instead of the rope — the blast can free a Buddy you cannot hit directly.
- Use ricochet surfaces on levels where the rope is behind cover; a bounced arrow reaches angles a straight shot cannot.
- If you finish with fewer than three stars, replay the level — the retry button sits right on the completion screen.
