How to Play Nuts and Bolts: Screw Puzzle
Each level shows a wooden backing panel with metal strips bolted across it. Click or tap a screw and it spins out, then travels to an empty bolt hole you pick. Empty holes sit on the bare wood — in the early levels you can see two or three pale dots waiting at the bottom of the panel.
A plank stays put while a single screw still pins it. Free both ends and it swings loose and falls off the board, which opens up the holes it was covering and gives you new places to park screws. That chain of freed holes is the whole puzzle: later boards stack strips in overlapping rows, so the order you unscrew them decides whether you keep space to work with or get stuck.
Levels are numbered and run one after another, growing more tangled as you go. There is no timer, so you can sit and plan each move before committing.
Tips
- Count the empty holes before your first move — if you fill them all with screws, nothing can come loose.
- Work on planks that already have one end free; they only need a single move to drop.
- When a plank falls, the holes it covered open up, so treat each drop as extra parking space for the next round of screws.
- On the crowded boards, look for the strip on top of the stack first — the ones underneath usually can't move until it's gone.
- There's no clock running, so trace the whole sequence in your head before you tap anything.
