How to Play Neon Billard Pool
A full rack sits at one end of the dark green table and the prompt "Perform the break" appears with the cue lined up behind the white ball. Aim with the mouse and send the cue ball into the triangle to scatter the reds, yellows and the black.
After the break, the two players take alternating turns. One side is chasing the red balls, the other the yellow ones, and the black sits with them as the final target. Pot a ball on your turn and you keep shooting; miss and the banner tells you to swap players, handing the cue to your opponent.
Angles matter as much as power here. The six pockets sit at the corners and the middle of the long rails, so you will spend a lot of shots bouncing the white ball off a cushion to reach a colour tucked against the edge, and plenty of balls cluster near the neon-painted corners.
Tips
- Take the break from behind the white ball's starting spot and hit the front of the triangle squarely so reds and yellows spread toward different pockets.
- Balls that settle tight against a rail are awkward — plan a cushion bounce with the cue ball instead of a straight shot.
- Since a missed pot passes the turn immediately, choose the easy close-range ball over a long table-length gamble.
- Leave the black alone until your colour is gone; it is the last ball on the table for both sides.
- Watch where the cue ball finishes, not just the ball you are potting — a good position sets up your next shot before you hand over the cue.
