Zombie Area
By Ravel
Zombie Area drops you inside a dim, low-poly house where the undead have already broken in. You move through connected rooms, fight off the zombies that come at you, and look for the exit while staying alive. A weapon bar and pickup counters sit along the bottom of the screen. It runs free in your browser, on desktop or mobile, with nothing to download.

How to Play Zombie Area
You see your character from above and slightly behind, so walls, furniture and doorways block your line of sight as you push through the building. Corridors are narrow and rooms are dark apart from a few lamps and glowing doorways, which means zombies often appear only when you round a corner.
A green aim line extends from your character towards a circular reticle you place on screen — that line shows where your shots will go. The bar across the bottom holds your gear: a Use action on the left, then several firearms including a pistol and longer guns, plus a medkit slot and a grenade slot, each with its own count. Tap or click a slot to swap what you are holding.
Rooms are labelled on the walls — "AREA 1" is stencilled in yellow above the lounge — so the text helps you keep track of where you have already been. Keep clearing the undead and searching the layout until you find the way out.
Tips
- Let the green aim line settle on a target before firing — it shows your firing direction, so you can line up a shot through a doorway before stepping into the room.
- Watch your medkit and grenade counters at the bottom right; both show how many you are carrying, so don't burn them on a single stray zombie.
- Switch to a longer gun for open rooms and keep the pistol for tight corridors where enemies close fast.
- Use the wall labels like "AREA 1" as landmarks — the house layout repeats similar furniture, and the stencilled text keeps you from circling the same rooms.
- Lit doorways and lamps mark the paths between sections; follow them when you are hunting for the exit.
