How to Play Grand Zombie Swarm

You control the soldier from a third-person view, camera just over his shoulder, moving with WASD while the mouse aims his pistol. Zombies sprint at you across the open yard between brick warehouses and shipping containers, so keep backing off while you fire rather than letting them close in.

The HUD tracks the three things that matter: a timer at the top, your health in the bottom-left and ammo in the bottom-right, split between the magazine and your reserve. When the magazine runs dry, press R to reload — the frames show it emptying fast when several zombies rush at once. Mouse wheel cycles through the different weapons you carry, right mouse button aims for tighter shots at distance, and Space jumps.

The map is open, with alleys between containers and long streets leading toward the city skyline, so you can reposition, break line of sight and pick off stragglers instead of standing still in the middle of a swarm.

Tips

  1. Walk backwards while firing — zombies charge straight at you and lose ground if you never stop retreating.
  2. Reload with R the moment a fight ends; the magazine counter in the bottom-right drains in a few seconds during a rush.
  3. Hold right mouse to aim before shooting distant zombies across the yard instead of spraying from the hip.
  4. Use containers and warehouse walls as corners so only one or two zombies can reach you at a time.
  5. Check the mouse wheel weapon options — different guns suit close swarms and long street shots.
  6. Watch the health number in the bottom-left; if it drops, put distance between you and the pack before it falls further.
