How to Play Drive Zone
You drive from a third-person view just behind the car, with the speedometer in the lower-left corner reading out KMH and a distance counter in the top-left that climbs as you cover ground. The road in the frames runs from a dusty highway between rocky hills into a concrete tunnel marked with arrow boards, and other cars share the lanes with you.
Two things score. Swing the back end out through a corner and a DRIFT meter appears in the middle of the screen, filling up while you hold the slide and adding to a TOTAL beneath it. Slip past another car and an OVERTAKE banner pops up with a points value and a multiplier. Keep the throttle on with W, tap S to slow for tight bends, steer with A and D, and use C to switch camera if you prefer a different angle on the road.
Tips
- Lift off and brake before a bend instead of during it — the frames show speed dropping near 56 KMH in corners where the drift meter builds.
- Hold the slide rather than snapping the car straight: the DRIFT bar keeps filling while the rear stays out, and that feeds the running TOTAL.
- Overtakes award points with a multiplier, so line up passes on traffic ahead instead of sitting behind a slower car.
- Watch for the guardrails on the mountain sections and the tunnel walls — there is no runoff room there, so brake earlier than you would on the open highway.
- Try the C camera switch early to find the view that makes judging corner entry easiest for you.
