How to Play Dot and Dot
Press on a colored dot and drag to its matching partner. The line follows the grid square by square, and the frames show it hugging corners and wrapping around the outer edge when the direct route is blocked. Each finished pair lights its own colored channel across the board, so a solved stage looks like several ribbons of color woven together.
Two rules shape every solution: paths cannot overlap each other, and every empty square has to be covered by the time you are done. That means a lazy short route often has to be replaced with a long detour — the yellow line in the frames loops most of the way around the board so the other colors still have room. If a line is in the way, clear it and try a different shape.
A lightbulb counter in the corner tracks your hints, dropping by one each time you spend one, so save them for stages where you genuinely cannot see the flow. The stage number sits at the top, and puzzles get tighter as it climbs.
Tips
- Fill the outer border early — corner and edge squares are the hardest to cover once the middle is full.
- If two pairs sit close together, connect the short one with a detour rather than a straight line, or you will strand empty squares.
- Right-click to wipe a path as soon as it blocks another color instead of trying to squeeze around it.
- Use double-click when only one pair is left to finish the stage cleanly.
- Treat the hint counter as limited: the lightbulb total goes down and the later stages need it more.
