How to Play CatSorter Puzzle

Each level starts with cats of two or more colors mixed across a set of upholstered seats. Pick up a cat with a click or tap, drag it to another seat, and drop it. Only the cat on top of a stack can move, so you work down through the pile, using empty seats and spare slots as temporary parking while you separate the colors.

Seat height is the puzzle. A short seat takes a single cat, while the tallest ones stack five, so the order you unload matters — fill a tall seat with the wrong color early and you lose the space you needed. A green check mark appears above a seat once it holds only matching cats, and the level ends when every seat is confirmed.

Finishing a level pays out coins, shown on the Classic results screen along with a treasure chest that fills as you progress. A question-mark button offers a hint if a layout stumps you, and a skip option is available at the top of the board.

Tips

  1. Clear a seat completely early on — an empty seat is the most flexible place to dump an awkward cat.
  2. Check seat heights before you start moving: send the color you have most of to the tallest seat.
  3. Only the top cat in a stack can be picked up, so plan two or three moves ahead instead of grabbing the nearest cat.
  4. Use the question-mark hint button when a board looks locked rather than shuffling at random.
  5. Some cats will only settle in certain seats, so watch which drops the game refuses before committing to a plan.
