How to Play Merge To Million
Click or tap a block to pick it up, then click an empty cell on the tall grid to set it down. If it lands next to a tile showing the same number, the pair merges into a bigger value — two 8s become 16, and so on. In the frames you can see 2, 4, 8, 16 and 32 tiles sitting along the bottom of the board while the Scores counter climbs with each merge.
Placement is the whole puzzle. Space fills up quickly, and crate blocks that carry no number take up squares without ever merging, so you have to plan where each incoming tile can chain into something. Set up a row where one drop triggers a merge that feeds straight into another for a combo.
Six power-ups sit in the column down the left side of the screen, ready to help when the grid gets awkward. Your Scores total shows at the top right and your best run is kept as Highscores underneath, so each attempt has a target to beat.
Tips
- A merge only happens when the block you drop is touching a tile with the exact same number, so check the neighbours before you commit to a cell.
- Keep your biggest tiles together near the bottom of the grid and leave the upper rows open for new small blocks.
- Line up matching pairs in advance so one drop merges, then the result merges again — combos push the Scores counter up much faster.
- Crate blocks never merge, so treat every square they occupy as permanently lost and build your chains away from them.
- Hold your six power-ups for moments when the grid is genuinely clogged rather than spending them on an early board you can still solve.
