How to Play WorldCup2026
Each attempt starts with your player standing on the grass a set distance from goal — the readout at the top of the screen shows how far out you are, somewhere in the low twenties of metres in the frames above. Move the mouse (or slide your finger) to position the player and set up the strike, then click or lift your finger to hit the ball.
The camera sits behind and slightly above the striker, so you can see the keeper in green filling the goalmouth and the other players standing in the area. A small marker appears near the goal frame as you aim, helping you pick a target before you release. The scoreboard at the top keeps the score for both sides.
Goals are what move you forward: the setup is the final group-stage match, and winning it sends you into the elimination rounds, with four more matches to win before the trophy.
Tips
- Watch where the keeper stands before you release — he shifts across the goalmouth, and the open side changes attempt to attempt.
- Check the distance readout at the top of the screen; a shot from 27 metres needs a very different strike to one from 20.
- Take a moment to settle the aim marker on the part of the goal you want before clicking, rather than shooting the instant the attempt begins.
- Landscape view gives you the widest look at the goal, so turn a phone sideways before playing.
