The Zombie House puts you outside a small wooden house on a country crossroads, holding off waves of zombies that want to tear it down. Two health bars matter: yours and the building's, and both show at the top of the screen. Kill zombies, scoop up the coins and ability drops they leave, and spend them on upgrades before the next wave arrives. It runs free in your browser on desktop and mobile.

How to Play The Zombie House

You control a small blue character seen from a high angle. Move around the yard and click on a zombie to fire in that direction — the shots trail a bright blue streak, so you can see where your fire is landing. Zombies come in sets: the HUD counts them off as waves, such as Wave 1/3, and each level sends tougher ones at you.

Defeated zombies drop coins (the counter sits at the top right) and ability pickups that appear as glowing crates and rings on the ground, so it pays to walk over the mess after a fight instead of retreating. Use the UPGRADE button on the left to spend coins on your character and on the house itself.

Watch the HOUSE HEALTH bar as closely as your own. Zombies that reach the building chip it down, and since the runs keep coming with no fixed end, your score is simply how long you last.

There is a row of ability icons down the right edge of the screen next to the action buttons.

Tips

  1. Fight away from the house so zombies never get close enough to damage the HOUSE HEALTH bar.
  2. Collect the dropped coins and ability crates between waves — they only sit on the ground for you to walk over.
  3. Spend coins at the UPGRADE button during quieter moments, since every new level makes the zombies stronger.
  4. Keep moving with WASD while clicking; standing still lets zombies close the gap on your 10-point health bar.
  5. Use trees and rocks to break a zombie's approach and buy yourself time to line up shots.
