How to Play Prison Break: Architect Tycoon
The camera looks down on your prison from above, and a goal card in the top-left corner tells you what to do next — knock out a prisoner, carry him to his cell, or get a new arrival locked up. You move the overseer around the yard and step onto a marked pad to use it; the ones reading "Unlock One Day" open up fresh cell blocks, and cash pickups dropped around the sand add to the counter in the top-right.
Each in-game day is shown by the "Day 1", "Day 2" banner at the top with a progress bar above it. During the day you spend money on new cells, stronger doors, surveillance cameras and hired guards, and on upgrades for the overseer himself — movement speed, better weapons, and carrying more prisoners at once. When the day runs out the inmates try to break free, and your job is to put every one of them down.
Clear all the escapees and the next day begins with tougher prisoners, including Bosses. Each prison takes around ten days before you move on to the next one.
Tips
- Shooting is automatic, so your only real job in a fight is positioning — keep moving so escaping prisoners cannot surround you.
- Grab the cash scattered around the yard as you walk; those pickups fund the doors, cameras and guards you need before the day ends.
- Spend on the overseer's carry capacity early — hauling more prisoners at once means fewer trips across the compound.
- Use the "Unlock One Day" pads as soon as you can afford them so there is a cell ready for every new arrival.
- Reinforce doors and add cameras before Boss days; ordinary walls will not hold the dangerous inmates.
