How to Play Rooftop Shooters

Each round starts with the two fighters facing each other across a rooftop. You have two keys — one jumps, one fires — and you use them to land hits and push your rival off the platform. The digital scoreboard at the top of the screen keeps the tally for both players between rounds.

Stages and weapons change, and the banner under the scoreboard names the current setup. The frames show a flat brick rooftop where pistol shots leave a straight white tracer, and a pointed blue roof pair split by a gap in the middle where a heavy bazooka shell floats across the divide. The gaps and edges matter as much as your aim: a fighter who ends up off the roof is out.

There are three ways to play: online multiplayer against another person, local two player on one keyboard, and a local practice mode. Winning matches unlocks new skins for your character.

Tips

  1. Use practice mode first so you get used to firing and jumping with only two keys.
  2. Watch the stage banner at the top: a gunfight on the flat brick roof plays differently from the bazooka stage with the gap in the middle.
  3. On the split roof stages, the central gap is the quickest way to lose — be careful about where you land after a jump.
  4. Keep an eye on the scoreboard to know how close the match is before you take a risky jump.
  5. Keep winning matches to unlock more character skins.
