How to Play Counter Craft
You play from a first-person view with your gun filling the lower right of the screen. The HUD keeps things simple: health points and your cash on the left, ammo in the magazine and in reserve on the right next to the current weapon's name, and a round timer counting down in the centre.
Between rounds there is a short window to spend money — on-screen text counts down the seconds left to open the buy menu and pick up a better weapon. Once that window closes you fight with what you have, reloading with R and switching between the weapons you own with the number keys.
Maps mix tight block-built interiors — stone-and-wood rooms with narrow doorways and ladders — with open village ground full of grass, flowers and cottages, so you swap between corner-peeking indoors and longer sightlines outside. Kill rival players to win the round.
Tips
- Watch the buy-menu countdown in the centre of the screen and press B before it runs out — once the window closes you are stuck with your current loadout.
- Keep an eye on the ammo readout in the bottom right and reload with R while you are behind cover rather than mid-fight.
- Crouch with C when holding a doorway; the block-built interiors have narrow openings that are easy to watch from a low angle.
- Use the number keys to swap weapons instead of reloading when an enemy is close.
- Outdoors the village is wide and open, so aim with the right mouse button for shots at distance.
