You swing whatever weapon your character is holding and throw missiles to push your rival backwards until they drop. How to Play Weapon Duel

Start from the character screen, where you flip left and right through the fighters with the arrows, then choose between a one-player match against the AI or a two-player game. The level number shows at the top of the screen and climbs as you win.

Each round drops both fighters onto a flat rooftop above a cartoon city skyline, with name labels under each one — your side is marked P1. Move in close and use the attack button to swing your weapon, or use the throw button to launch a missile at the opponent from a distance. Hits shove the other fighter back toward the edge of the roof.

Since the platform is short and there are no walls on the sides you can fall from, positioning matters as much as attacking: knocking your rival off the rooftop ends the round, and getting shoved off yourself loses it.

Tips

  1. Watch how close you are to the edge — a couple of clean hits are enough to push a fighter off the short rooftop.
  2. Use the throw attack when your opponent is across the roof, and save the close-range swing for when they close the gap.
  3. Try the AI matches first to learn how far each hit shoves a fighter before you challenge a friend on the same keyboard.
  4. Flip through the character screen and see which fighter's weapon you prefer before starting a level.
