How to Play Fall Race : Season 2

You control one colored character in a pack of racers, marked by a white arrow floating above your head so you never lose track of yourself in the crowd. Steer with the arrow keys or WASD and press Space to jump. The camera follows from behind and slightly above, which is the view you use to line up jumps.

Courses change completely from one map to the next. One stage has you squeezing through a yellow-railed chute over a blue floor with white chevron markings; another is a purple arena scattered with yellow inflatable rings and frames you have to hop or weave through, with oversized striped balls and balloons filling the background. A counter in the top-right corner shows the qualified tally as racers cross the line.

The pack bunches up hard at chokepoints, so a lot of the game is picking a lane the other runners aren't already jammed into, then timing your jump so you clear the obstacle instead of bumping into it and losing ground.

Tips

1. Watch the white arrow above your character — in a crowd of similar bean racers it's the fastest way to confirm which one you're steering.
2. At narrow sections like the railed chute, aim for the edge lanes; the middle fills with other racers and stalls you.
3. Jump a beat before you reach an inflatable ring or frame rather than right at it, so you land past it instead of on top of it.
4. Treat each map as new. Learning the layout of one stage doesn't transfer, so use your first run through a course to read where the gaps are.
