Tug of Heads puts two wobbly, glowing wrestlers in a small arena and asks one thing of you: keep your own head out of trouble while shoving your rival's head into it. Each round ends when someone's head hits the hazard, and the score climbs at the top of the screen. It plays free in your browser, alone against the CPU or with a friend on the same keyboard.

How to Play Tug of Heads
Pick whether you face the CPU or a second player, choose how many sets the match runs for, and the first stage loads. Both fighters are ragdolls — orange on one side, blue on the other — so movement is loose and every push carries momentum you have to correct for.
The arena itself is the weapon. Frames show clusters of spiked blue discs floating in open space, curved tracks of striped rope, and bare stages where the danger arrives from above. You grapple, lean and jump your opponent's head into whatever the level puts there, and the round score in the corners ticks up for the survivor.
With more than 50 hand-designed levels, the layout and conditions change constantly, so the tactic that won the last round may be useless in the next one. Matches continue until one side takes the set count you picked at the start.
Tips
- Watch where the spiked discs sit before you commit to a push — dragging your rival toward a cluster is safer than wrestling in open space.
- Because both bodies are ragdolls, small taps beat holding a direction; over-leaning tips your own head down first.
- On the rope stages, the curved track limits where you can stand, so pin your opponent against the edge instead of trading shoves in the middle.
- Pick a short set count for a quick game and a long one if you want time to learn each level's hazard.
