How to Play Metal Army War 3
You control a helmeted soldier in a bright 2D side view. Move along beach platforms, metal walkways and towers while armoured enemies and robot dogs push toward you. Your attack key fires your weapon, and holding it before releasing produces a stronger hit. Grenades handle clustered enemies, and X reloads when your ammo count runs low — the top-left HUD tracks your health bar and the rounds left in your current gun.
Two weapon slots sit under Q and E, so you can swap between them mid-fight; pressing both together triggers a special attack once your SP bar is full. Jumping with W also lets you walk on walls to reach higher ledges and crates.
Stages are labelled by difficulty and number, and a counter at the bottom shows how many survivors you have freed out of the total — look for characters shouting for help near enemy positions. Terminals let you recruit mini droids to fight alongside you, and red-cross stations and floating gear tokens are scattered across the map.
Tips
- Reload with X during a lull instead of mid-firefight — the ammo number under your health bar warns you early.
- Hold the attack key a moment longer before releasing to land the heavier hit on armoured enemies.
- Save the Q+E special for moments when several enemies and a vehicle are on screen together, since it needs a full SP bar.
- Use the recruitment terminal for mini droids when you reach one; extra firepower helps on crowded walkways.
- Wall-walking with the jump key reaches upper platforms where snipers and gear tokens sit.
- Check the survivor counter at the bottom of the screen so you don't run past someone still calling for help.
