The goal is simple: shoot the enemy forces coming at you while keeping your health bar from hitting zero. How to Play Brutal Defender
You see the world down the barrel of your weapon. Two readouts matter: health in the bottom-left, which drops every time an enemy lands a hit on you, and ammo in the bottom-right, shown as rounds in the clip over your total reserve. Left click fires, and R reloads when the clip runs dry — in the frames the counter falls to 0 fast, so watch it.
Move with WASD and jump with Space to reposition around the crates and walls of the compound rather than standing in the open. Enemies appear at range down the lanes between buildings and also sprint straight at you in groups, so you'll be swinging your aim between distant silhouettes and bodybuilder-looking brutes a few metres away. The game promises a large weapon selection, and F is the use key for interacting. P pauses. A timer runs along the top of the screen throughout the round.
Tips
- Watch the clip counter, not just the reserve — the frames show it emptying in a handful of shots, and hitting R early is safer than being caught at 0.
- Deal with the close attackers first; the ones charging into melee range are what drain your health bar fastest.
- Use the wooden crates and building corners as cover while you reload instead of reloading in the middle of an open lane.
- Jump and keep moving with WASD rather than standing still when several enemies converge on you.
