How to Play PondHero
Each level opens with the path drawn out over the water — in the frames you can see orange and pale planks laid across a fenced pond, with the frog waiting at the bottom edge and a small cabin marking the goal at the top right. Study the shape of that route, because it disappears and leaves you with nothing but plain water tiles.
Then you rebuild it. Click the pond squares one at a time in the order you remember; the frog follows along the tiles you call out. Pick a square that wasn't part of the route and the attempt fails, so you start the level again.
The counter and progress bar at the top of the screen track which level you're on and how far you've come. Early puzzles use short, chunky paths a few planks wide, while later layouts stretch further and bend around the pond, so the amount you need to hold in your head keeps growing.
Tips
- Don't just memorize squares — memorize the shape. Paths in the frames form recognizable blocks and L-bends that are easier to recall than a list of positions.
- Split long routes into two halves and rehearse each before the planks vanish.
- Use the fence rails and the cabin at the top as fixed landmarks to judge how far across a plank sits.
- Take the moment the path is visible seriously; once it's gone there is no hint, and a single wrong click restarts the level.
- If a level keeps beating you, note where you went wrong last time and focus your study on that stretch of the pond.
