How to Play Boxes Fright Night
Each level shows a playfield of thick black paths outlined with dashed lines, laid out over a deep orange Halloween background. Your box — a purple or yellow cube with two small square eyes — travels along those paths, and glowing pumpkins sit at various points on and around them. The goal is to collect all of them.
Because the box is a physics object, it doesn't simply slide where you point. You move it, jump it and rotate it, so it tumbles, tips onto a new face and drops off ledges. Judging how a rotation will land the box is the actual puzzle: the frames show it perched on an upper corner, then down in the gap between the four track shapes, and later airborne above the field after leaving the surface.
Sweep up every pumpkin in the layout to finish the level and move on to the next set of paths and obstacles.
Tips
- Look at where the pumpkins sit before you touch anything — some hang in the open gap between track shapes rather than on a path.
- Rotating is a movement tool, not decoration: tipping the box onto another face is often the only way to shift it across a corner.
- Watch the corners of the dashed paths. A box that tumbles off an edge keeps falling, so line up the turn before you commit.
- Collect pumpkins that are easy to reach on the way past, so you aren't crossing the whole layout twice for one leftover.
