A level opens with the little impostor dangling from a rope attached to a winch on an overhead beam. Drag the cursor across the rope to slice it, and the character falls under gravity from wherever it happens to be swinging. Timing the cut decides where it lands.
Rooms fill up with more than just rope. Columns of coins hang in the air for you to sweep through as the character drops, while spiked strips, a jagged saw bar and a spike-jawed creature sit along the floor and walls. Later frames show a microchip strung up on a rope of its own and a green monster standing in the room, so read each layout before you swipe. The HUD at the top tracks the level number, a clock readout and your coin count, with a settings gear on the right.
Coins you bank go toward the game's collectible skins, so it's worth grabbing them on the way down rather than taking the shortest drop.
