How to Play Words of Wonders

Each level of the game has different words and slots which the player has to fill with correct word combinations. Earn rewards of up to 80 gems and collectible graphic cards of famous world landmarks as you go!

Gems

Gems are useful for players whenever they need a hint. The first 2 hints are free, but afterward, they’ll cost between 100-200 gems. Save your gems for when you really need them by winning each level based on your analytical skills!

Hints

If you’re stuck on a level, Words of Wonders offers hints. The smash button costs 200 gems per use, wherein you can choose any tile to reveal its letter. There is also a lightbulb button which is cheaper and costs 100 gems, where it will also reveal a letter but of a random tile.

Tips, Tricks & Strategies

Claim Gifts

Another easy way to earn gems in Words of Wonders is to merely keep playing! At random times, there will be butterflies lying on a random tile, and when you solve the word for that tile, you will be given a gift that you can open every 20 minutes!

Expand Your Vocabulary

Remember, the words you can form are not just limited to nouns–you can also form pronouns, prepositions, and the like. And if there’s an S in the letters, you can also simply try the plural form of the words!

Shuffle Your Letters

If you’re in a rut, you can shuffle the letters at no limit for a fresh perspective. New patterns might reveal words you hadn’t noticed before.

Keep Trying

If out of options, you can always use trial and error! After all, there’s no penalty for incorrect guesses. Not only will you easily form all the words, you can also find bonus words not in the puzzle to earn extra gems!

How do I earn gems?

There are many ways Words of Wonders offers its players to earn gems – by winning in-game levels to collect gifts, unlocking words that aren’t in the puzzle, or via the spinning wheel found at the upper left corner of the screen.

How do I use hints?

While solving a puzzle, you can use hints by pressing either the smash button on the left side or the lightbulb button on the right side of the word bubble. Each hint costs 100-200 gems.

Can I save my game?

Yes, you can save your game in Words of Wonders by hovering on the bottom left of the screen and then clicking on “Save State” (or Shift +F2). You can save your game to either a local file, the browser storage, or the server. Load your game by pressing “Load State” (or Shift + F4).
