How to Play Mad City Matrix
Move with WASD and look around with the mouse. Agents in black suits close in on foot, so you either meet them with melee punches up close or open fire with the left mouse button. Right mouse aims, the mouse wheel cycles through your weapons and R reloads when a magazine runs dry. Space lets you jump clear of a crowd.
The two numbers that matter are the timer at the top and the HEALTH value at the bottom left. The goal of each level is to survive until the time runs out, and the frames show health falling fast once four or five agents surround you at once — at that point the screen edges turn red and bloodied. Press T for bullet time when a group has you boxed in, so you can pick off attackers before they land their own hits.
Tips
- Watch the HEALTH counter at the bottom left — once it dips low, back away from the pack instead of trading more punches.
- Save bullet time (T) for the moments when several agents have surrounded you, as in the later stages of a level.
- Reload with R while you have space around you, not while an agent is swinging at you.
- Use the mouse wheel to pick a weapon before the crowd arrives rather than fumbling mid-fight.
- Fight near open grass instead of against the arena wall so you always have a direction to run.
