How to Play Kour.io

Kour.io is a free-to-play, multiplayer FPS (first-person shooting) game. Kill other players with a variety of weapons, either with a primary, secondary, or melee weapon (which you can also customize!). Level up by increasing your kill count to gain XP, coins (called KP), and access better upgrades and weapons!

KP

KP stands for “Kour Points”, which serve as Kour.io's main currency. Earn KP by completing missions, or redeem them for free as a daily reward in the shop! You can also buy KP by making in-game purchases.

Missions

Level up by completing missions to earn XP and KP! Missions in Kour.io range from killing fifty chickens to getting five kills and a headshot. Complete these missions to unlock more missions and gain more coins and experience points.

Crates

Crates contain one random goodie, which can either be a character, hat, or weapon. The rarity of these items ranges from uncommon to immortal. You can unlock these crates in the shop for a certain amount of KP, and you can only open them once. Be sure to check out the shop’s home page to score a free crate!

Roles

There are different team roles to choose from in Kour.io, such as soldier, gunner, hitman, rocketeer, or agent. Each role has different strengths and weaknesses, as well as an assigned weapon. A hitman must equip a sniper rifle, while a rocketeer must equip a rocket launcher. However, you can choose your type of weapon and customize your character look!

Game Modes

When you enter Kour.io, you can choose a server (USA, Europe, Asia, or South America) as well as choose from different game modes. You can choose to play a random game mode, play those created by other players, or even create your own! Game modes include:

FFA (Free-for-all) - Outlast opponents, collect power-ups, and rise to the top as the ultimate solo champion. There is also a 35-minute version of this game mode.TDM (Team Deathmatch) - Terrorists vs. counter-terrorists: team up and dominate the arena in intense team-based battles! Coordinate strategy, conquer territories, and achieve victory as a unified force. Battle Royale - Players are dropped into an ever-shrinking arena, fighting to be the last one standing in a survival showdown!Hardpoint - This mode in Kour.io challenges players to capture and hold a rotating objective area to score points, demanding teamwork and strategic control to outlast opponents.Gun Game - Play with various weapons like that in CSGO. Progress through guns and aim for knife kills!

Join Clans

Join or create a clan in Kour.io from the game’s home screen. Being in a clan allows you to meet new teammates and participate in competitive clan wars.

Explore the Shop

Expand your inventory with multiple crates, weapons, characters, and more by purchasing them in the shop, which can be found in the game’s home screen. Don’t forget to check for free crates that randomly pop up!

Practice on Chickens

One of the starting missions in Kour.io is to kill fifty chickens. This is a relatively easy task as there are many chickens scattered in the arena. As a beginner, you can practice your aiming skills on them and gain a free chicken character skin upon mission completion!

Yes, you can play Kour.io with your friends in real time by using a unique room link. Simply go to the home screen, navigate to  “Server Finder”, and then click “Host” or “Join”. Hosting your own game provides you with a unique shareable link to invite your friends. You can also customize the game mode, map, timer, and player count to your liking.
