How to Play Gold Miner Tower Defense
Your gold sits at the bottom of a cross-section of the mine, with dirt ledges above it. Enemies enter and work their way down toward the treasure, so your job is to fill their route with traps before they reach it. The card tray at the bottom of the screen holds your available defenses; each one shows its magic cost. Drag a card onto a highlighted slot on a ledge to install it.
Every trap type behaves differently — spikes sit in the floor, the cannon fires along the ledge, and other cards bring their own skills. Drop a trap onto a matching trap already in place and the two merge into a higher level version that hits harder, which is usually better value than spreading weak traps around.
Kills and clears pay out magic (you'll see small +10 pickups), and that magic buys the next card. The counter at the top tracks your progress through the current wave, such as 1/3. There is also a Speed Up button to fast-forward and get the fighting started sooner.
Tips
- Merging two identical traps gives you more damage per magic spent than filling every slot with level 1 cards.
- Read each card's cost before buying — saving a little magic can let you afford a merge instead of a cheap extra trap.
- Place traps on the ledges enemies actually travel along, closest to the gold pile you need to protect.
