How to Play FNF: Trick or Die
You start outside a wooden two-storey house under a red, clouded sky, with a carved pumpkin glowing on the porch. Walking is on W, A, S and D, and the view follows the mouse, so exploring means picking a door, a stairwell or a hallway and heading in. A small hand icon appears on screen when you are looking at something you can reach.
Inside, rooms range from a brightly lit stairwell to a near-dark kitchen full of cupboards, a microwave, an oven and rugs on checkered tiles. Press F to pick up or use an item, and G to put it back down, so you can carry something across the house or leave it where it is needed. T is the unhide key, which brings you back out of a hiding spot.
Lemon Demon prowls the same house. When it gets close, the screen darkens and the edges wash red as the grinning face fills your view — which is the moment hiding and route planning matter most. Keep searching until you find and free Girlfriend.
Tips
- Watch for the small hand icon in the middle of the screen: it is what tells you an object, door or window is actually interactive rather than scenery.
