How to Play Turtle Quest
You move left and right along brick platforms while hearts in the top-left show how much damage you can take. Gaps in the floor drop straight into water, so a mistimed jump restarts the level. The HUD also tracks your score and a row of bottle slots that fill in as you pick up the yellow liquid the Master needs.
Three ninja abilities widen your options. The boomerang is your attack for enemies that patrol the walkways, like the horned creature in the ruins. The rope fires a grappling claw that pulls you up to higher ledges or over wider holes, and you can cancel it mid-swing by jumping or pressing down. The parachute slows your descent so long falls become controlled glides onto the platform below.
Glowing pickups sit along the route and above gaps, rewarding players who take the risky high path instead of the safe ground line.
Tips
- Jump early at floor gaps — falling into the water below restarts the level rather than just costing a heart.
- Use the rope claw on wide holes you can't clear with a normal jump, then cancel it with jump or the down arrow to land where you want.
- Open the parachute when a drop looks long so you can steer onto the platform instead of overshooting it.
- Throw the boomerang at patrolling enemies from a distance rather than walking into them.
- Keep an eye on the bottle slots in the HUD — the yellow liquid pickups are the point of each run, so grab the ones hanging above gaps.
