You control the jester from a side-on 2D view, moving right through a sunny coastal stage built from grassy ground, brick blocks, green pipes and question-mark blocks hanging in the air. Jumping is the main tool: gaps in the floor, raised block stacks and floating platforms all need timed hops.
The HUD at the top tracks four things at once — a red bar with a meat icon and a number on the left, a countdown next to a stopwatch that ticks steadily down, a running score, and a star counter that climbs as you pick up the gold coins scattered around the level.
