How to Play Basketball School
Every shot starts the same way: hold the left mouse button and drag to set the direction and power of your throw, then let go. A dotted line traces the ball's flight path over the pine trees, so you can read the arc and adjust before the next attempt. The score sits at the top of the screen next to your best score, while the balls you have left are shown in the corner.
Arcade mode hands you 10 balls. A make costs you nothing, a miss takes a ball away, and scoring keeps raising the difficulty. Time attack drops the ball limit and gives you a clock instead — shoot as fast and as accurately as you can until time expires. Distance king moves the goalposts literally: each basket pushes your shooting distance further out, and every miss pulls it back by a metre. Reach zero metres and the run ends. Clean shots also earn bonus points.
Tips
- Watch the dotted trajectory line after each throw — it shows exactly how far your arc fell short or overshot the rim.
- In arcade mode a make keeps your ball count intact, so slowing down and lining up carefully costs you nothing.
- In time attack, settle into one repeatable drag length instead of experimenting; rhythm matters more than power there.
- Distance king punishes greed: a miss shortens your range by a metre, so bank easy makes early to build a cushion.
- Aim for a high arc that drops into the hoop rather than a flat shot at the backboard.
