How to Play Basketball Arcade
Start by choosing a favourite team, then pick up a ball from the table. Move with WASD or the arrow keys, jump with Space, and aim using the mouse. Hold the left mouse button to build shooting force — the indicator climbs as you hold, and the number beside the ball in the frames shows the value you're loading. Release to launch.
Every shot is a guess at two things at once: the angle you're facing and how much force you've charged. Too little and the ball drops short of the backboard; too much and it sails over the trees behind the hoop. A dotted line marks the path of the ball in flight, which gives you a read on how your last attempt behaved.
You have twenty balls in total, and the counter in the top-left ticks down with each attempt. Your score sits in the centre of the screen and rises as shots drop through the net. With a time limit running, quick resets matter as much as accuracy.
Tips
- Watch the force number that appears next to the ball as you hold the button — memorise the value that worked from a given spot and repeat it.
- The dotted flight path left by a miss tells you whether you were over or under; adjust force in small steps rather than big jumps.
- You only get twenty balls, so avoid wild attempts from extreme distances early while you're still calibrating.
- Reposition with WASD between shots to find an angle you've already made, instead of forcing a difficult one.
