How to Play Jewel Christmas Story
Each level opens with a goals card showing which decorations you need to clear and how many — level 2 asks for 17 wreaths, while level 3 lists both baubles and cocoa mugs. You can slot boosters into the three booster spaces on that card before pressing play.
On the board, drag or click one piece into a neighbour to swap them. Line up three or more of the same decoration and they pop, the pieces above fall in, and the counter next to that target drops. Every swap you make costs one move, and the moves number in the top-right ticks down — from 10 on level 2 and 15 on level 3 — so a swap that clears nothing is a swap wasted.
Targets get a tick once you've cleared enough of them. Finish every target before the moves run out and the map opens the next level on the path; coins you bank along the way pay for boosters from the shop and loot box.
Tips
- Read the goals card first — if the level only wants wreaths, matches of cookies and baubles burn moves for nothing.
- Look for swaps low on the board; clearing near the bottom drops a whole column and can set off free chain matches.
- Save your coins for boosters on levels with tight move counts rather than spending them early.
- On boards with targets counting two different items, hunt for swaps that sit where both types overlap.
