Golf Battle is a free mini golf game you play in your browser, no download needed. You line up putts on short, checkerboard-green courses, drag back from the ball to set power and direction, and try to drop it in the cup before the timer runs out. A corner readout tracks how many strokes the hole has taken and how many points the sink is still worth.

How to Play Golf Battle

Each hole starts by showing you where the cup is. Your ball sits on a narrow strip of green surrounded by grass, rocks and trees, and you putt from wherever it came to rest. Click and drag back from the ball — a dotted aim line and an arrow gauge stretch out behind it, so the further you pull, the harder the hit. Release to swing.

The header shows a countdown timer, your score, and the current hole counter. That counter climbs with every stroke — "Hole in 2", "Hole in 3", "Hole in 5" — and the point value beside it drops each time, so a quick sink is worth far more than a scrappy one. Completing maps earns coins and gems. Later greens add obstacles like pale blue patches set into the turf and raised wooden borders to work around.

Finish the hole and you move on to the next layout with the clock still ticking.

Tips

  1. Watch the point value next to the hole counter: it shrinks with every extra stroke, so a confident first putt is worth more than two safe taps.
  2. Use the dotted aim line as a preview of your starting direction before you commit to a drag length.
  3. Short drags give gentle rolls — useful on narrow strips where an overhit sends the ball off the green and leaves you putting from the rough.
  4. The clock keeps running between holes, so line up quickly rather than fiddling with the aim on easy putts.
