You start tiny — the first frames show a fish at 17 next to a glowing jellyfish worth 7. Swim toward smaller numbers and swallow them; your own number ticks up, your fish visibly grows, and the star counter in the top-right corner climbs with it. Fish showing a higher number than yours will eat you instead, so read the digits before you commit.
Movement follows your cursor: the fish turns toward wherever the mouse sits relative to the middle of the screen, leaving a trail of bubbles as it swims. The lightning button in the corner is your boost, used to close on fleeing prey or break away from something huge. As you grow, the ocean scales with you — early jellyfish and specks give way to rivals in the hundreds and then thousands, hunted among sunken ship silhouettes and drowned ruins.

- Save the boost for the moment a target starts to flee, or for shaking off a larger fish that has lined up on you.
- Pick off the easy specks and small drifters early — the jump from 17 to 51 comes fast and opens up bigger prey.
- Watch the edges of the screen; at higher sizes several rivals in the thousands can appear at once, as in the ruins area.
- Give the biggest number on screen a wide berth until your own size passes it.
