How to Play Rainbow Survivor

You move your character with WASD around an open park map made of stacked blocks — green cube pyramids, tiled plazas, coloured buildings with glowing doorways and the occasional tree. The HUD keeps two numbers in front of you: a countdown timer at the top of the screen and a "FIND" counter on the left that climbs as you pick up boxes, shown as a fraction of the total you need.

Boxes are scattered around the map, so the loop is a route problem: sweep the plaza and the structures, grab what you find, and keep the timer in mind. The right mouse button handles hiding and attacking, which is how you deal with the monster when it gets close instead of just outrunning it. Other players appear in the park with name labels above them, and the distributor describes working together to finish the mission inside the time limit. Press P at any point for the pause panel, which has music and sound toggles plus Home and Resume.

Tips

  1. Watch the FIND counter, not just the timer — it tells you exactly how many boxes are left before the run is complete.
  2. Plan a loop around the map's landmarks (the block pyramids, the tiled plaza, the coloured buildings) so you don't re-search the same ground.
  3. Keep the right mouse button in mind as your escape option when the monster closes in, rather than trying to sprint past it.
  4. Use P to pause if you need to mute the sound or step away mid-run.
