How to Play Super Wario Riders
A "START GO" prompt opens the run, then you steer your character across grassy hills, brick blocks and floating platforms drawn in a cartoon sprite style. Coins hang in arcs over gaps, yellow stars sit on ledges, and question-mark blocks and brick rows are stacked at platform height — the frames show coins and stars bursting out when the character reaches them.
Two counters sit in the top-left corner: a number beside the character portrait that climbs steadily as you progress, and a coin tally that rises each time you grab gold. Enemies and hazards appear along the route, including spike clusters jutting from the ground, so timing your movement over gaps and around obstacles matters.
You can select and play as any of Mario's friends — Luigi, Toadette or Toad. Each level ends at a castle, and getting there safely moves you one step nearer to rescuing the princess from Bowser.

- Line up with the arcs of coins hanging over gaps — following them usually traces a safe path across.
