How to Play Baby Dino Planet
You control one baby dino and move it left or right with the arrow keys, jumping over gaps, spike rows and tree-lined ledges on the surface. The level layout in the frames stacks two worlds on top of each other: sunlit green hills and brown cliffs above, a flooded cavern of blue rock below, separated by the waterline that runs across the screen.
That line is the puzzle. A note in the second level spells out the rule: crossing the line reverses gravity, and the higher you are before you collide with the line, the higher you get once gravity is flipped. So a plain step off a ledge gets you a short flip, while dropping in from a raised platform sends you further through the inverted half of the stage.
From there you keep working toward the level's goal past obstacles, with a reset button in the top-left if a jump goes wrong and a home button in the top-right to leave the stage.
Tips
- Note your height before you touch the waterline — coming in from a tall ledge gives you a much bigger reach on the other side than stepping in from a low one.
- Look at the layout above and below the line before you commit; the inverted half of the level has its own ledges and rock walls, and you cannot see where you will land after the flip unless you check first.
- The spike row on the surface path is easier to clear with a running jump from the flat ground rather than from the edge of the drop.
- If a flip strands you, use the reset button in the top-left corner instead of wasting attempts from a bad position.
