Every attempt starts the same way: a penguin waits on an ice ledge while a large bear stands below with a bat, ready to swing. You use the mouse or a touch screen to play, and the launch sends the penguin out across the frozen landscape.
Obstacles are scattered through the snow — walruses, bare trees, ice formations — and getting past them cleanly is the point. When the penguin finally comes to rest, a purple RESULT panel appears showing the coins you earned and the distance you covered, from a flat 0m on a bad attempt to figures like 133m on a better one, along with a marker bar running between a trophy icon and a penguin icon.
Coins are the currency for upgrading your penguin, so weak early runs still feed into stronger ones. A shop button sits in the corner of the play screen, and the pause button is top-left if you need to stop.
