How to Play Brawl Stars Battle
Start by picking a hero — the selection screen shows each character posed with their weapon, like a caped gunslinger in a wide-brimmed hat, alongside a numbered slot. Once a match starts you appear in a bright overhead map of dirt paths, wooden fences, crates and thick green bushes, with your health bar floating above your character.
From there the loop is move, aim and shoot. You steer around cover, line up enemy heroes and keep firing, while a counter at the top of the screen tracks how many heroes are still in the fight and ticks down as they fall. On-screen buttons near the bottom right sit next to your weapon, and a gem counter and health readout follow your hero around the map. Beaten opponents show a banner over their portrait when they go down. In the 3v3 mode you fight alongside teammates, and the first team to reach fifteen kills takes the win.
Tips
- Use the fences, crates and bush patches on the map as cover — breaking line of sight buys time when your health bar drops.
- Watch the hero counter at the top of the screen so you know how many opponents are still active before pushing into open ground.
- In 3v3, stay near your teammates: the win condition is the team's combined fifteen kills, not your personal score.
- Keep an eye on the health bar above your character rather than the action alone; back off and reposition before it empties.
