How to Play Sprinter Heroes
Each race starts at the blocks. A starter raises his flag, the "GET SET" prompt appears over the lanes, and the field of eight crouches ready. Once the race is on, you move your sprinter by tapping the left and right arrow keys in turn — or A and D if you're sharing the keyboard with a friend.
The camera follows from a tilted overhead angle, so you can see rival runners pulling ahead or falling behind in the neighbouring lanes. Cross the line and a results board lists every finisher by rank with their time — a clean run might read something like 12.62 — plus the race points earned for that placing and a running total. First place takes the biggest points haul, with less for each position below.
Winning unlocks the next event, and the tournament moves across seven continents. The competition stiffens as you progress, and the final race is the hardest of the set.
Tips
- Watch the starter's flag and the GET SET prompt so you're ready the instant the race begins.
- Check the results board after every race — the times and points totals show how much ground you need to make up on rivals like H. Powell or I. Privansova.
- Aim for first place rather than just finishing: the top rank pays the largest race points, and those totals stack across the tournament.
- Expect the later continents to be tougher than the opening events, so treat the early races as practice for your key rhythm.
