How to Play Sonic Speed Run
Sonic runs automatically across a green-and-checkered Green Hill-style landscape, and the only thing you control is when he leaves the ground. Tap the spacebar for a single jump, then tap it again in mid-air for a double jump to clear taller gaps or reach rings floating high above the grass.
Rings are laid out in lines and arcs along the route — some sit at ground level, others hang in clusters you can only reach at the peak of a double jump. Picking them up feeds your score, shown top right alongside your best result so far. A multiplier value like x1.5 or x2.5 appears at the left of the screen and rises during a strong run, so a clean streak is worth far more than scattered pickups.
