You steer with the mouse or your finger, swallow smaller creatures and prey items, and level up until your sprite becomes a full-size shark. How to Play Shark Attack

Your fish follows the cursor or your finger, so movement is a matter of pointing where you want to swim. Scattered around the water are small pink prey and other swimmers; eating them raises the mass counter in the bottom-left corner and fills the NEXT LEVEL bar underneath it. Each level shows in the badge at the top-left, and your growing size is reflected in the character itself — the little cartoon fish you start with turns into a grey shark as the numbers climb.

Two abilities sit on the HUD: DIVE on the Z button and DASH on X, plus a passive slot showing an x2 boost. Sandy shoals and target markers break up the open water, and the minimap in the bottom-right shows where you are in the arena. The leaderboard on the right ranks players by score, so you can see how far your mass is from the top spot while you hunt.

Tips

  1. Start on the loose pink prey dotted around the open water — it is the safest mass while you are still a small fish.
  2. Watch the mass number rather than the level badge; the NEXT LEVEL bar tells you exactly how close your next size-up is.
  3. Keep an eye on the minimap so you do not drift into a corner of the arena with nothing left to eat.
  4. Save DASH for closing the last gap on something that is swimming away, not for general travel.
  5. Check the leaderboard scores to judge whether a nearby swimmer is likely bigger than you before you chase it.
